One way to format the references is to the use the tool at the Hege library or tools. Endnote is a heavy-duty add-in software package to Word that is good for managing citations and references.

Research your selected question/topic using the resources listed in your textbook, the resources I provide, and books and academic journal articles via the Hege Library gateway.

Refer to the Paper 3 Grading Rubric for additional information.

Topic:

Use the information learned in writing your earlier papers on economic systems and ethical theories to evaluate the ethical advantages and disadvantages of a free market economic system (with effective governmental measures to control for imperfect competition, imperfect information, externalities, and public goods) versus a command economic system.

Include empirical data on countries (or states) in your arguments. For example, you should use the data table you prepared earlier or other types of country or state data for general arguments. You may need to expand your data table. Select some countries with quite different levels of economic freedom or levels of development (UN) and use information about them to bolster your arguments. Do not select countries that effectively had no political and economic order for the data time period.

You may also write your paper about a related topic in which an ethical evaluation is performed. Be sure to get the instructor's approval in advance.
