Evaluate the effectiveness of the Hague Convention in protecting the cultural heritage of Iraq. Describe three types of damage to Iraq’s cultural heritage which have resulted from the war and discuss the applicability of the Hague Convention to these issues, and whether its precepts were, in fact, followed.
