Read the question.Identify the subject, skill, and time period.Brainstorm according to the organization of the question in as many ways as you can think of in the time you have. You want to collect all the information you can remember so that your essay contains relevant historical evidence.Decide on your thesis. The more evidence it deals with, the more complex it will be. Strongly consider making it more complex by starting with words such as "although" or "even though."Plan the rest of the essay. Once you have a thesis, it should be pretty clear what each body paragraph will be about. Make sure the argument in your thesis is fully carried out in the body of the essay and that each topic sentence declares which part of the thesis that paragraph will deal with.Write the essay.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
