To prepare for this discussion, read the assigned textbook chapters and the article, Why Inclusive Leaders Are Good for Organizations, and How to Become One. Complete the "Leader's Self-Insight 10.2. Are You a Contributing Team Member?" and "Leader's Self-Insight 11.2. Unconscious Bias" activities in the textbook. Reflect on what the results suggest about you as a leader. You are not required to share your specific results when discussing these activities, but are welcome to, if you are comfortable doing so.

3) Evaluate how a leader's role and responsibilities might change as a company becomes more diverse.

4) Analyze the roles cultural values and attitudes play in determining how to work effectively with employees from different cultures or ethnic backgrounds and how to maintain high performance teams. Integrate information based on the "Leader's Self-Insight 11.2. Unconscious Bias" activity in your reply.

5) Summarize the six traits or behaviors found to distinguish inclusive leaders and apply those traits to analyze yourself or another chosen leader.

6) Select three aspects of diversity (e.g., age, ethnicity, gender, nationality, religion/spirituality, socio-economic status, sexual orientation). Draft an action plan, outlining specific actions to create an inclusive culture in your career/profession or another career of interest. Include at least one action for each of the four ways recommended for leaders to get started to create an inclusive culture in the assigned article.

The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
