Medical law and ethics:
1. Read the case of the doctor euthanizing patients during Hurricane Katrina in 2005, on page 4 of the Fremgen text.

2. Write a 750-word (three full pages) on whether you agree or disagree with the doctor’s actions. The 750-words does NOT include a title page and Reference page.
3. The paper is to be double-spaced and written in 12-point font Times New Roman, ALL of the paper. A common mistake is to write the title and Reference pages in a font other than 12-point Times New Roman; don’t do that.
4. You must use a minimum of three (3) outside sources BESIDES the textbook. These can be magazine, internet articles, peer-reviewed journal articles. They must be cited using APA-style in-text citations. The Reference ( not Bibliography, not Works Cited) page must contain your sources written according to APA-style guidelines.

6. You will receive bonus points if you take the paper evaluated at the Writing Center. Proof in the form of a receipt/ticket from the Writing Center must be presented to me in order to get the bonus points; I’m not going to take your word that you went.
7. The title page should be contain your name, jag number, the course number, and instructor (mine) name.
8. Pages must be numbered.
9. Use headers, which is an two-word abbreviated form of the title of your paper, in the upper left-hand column. The header on the title page should read, Running head: ABBREVIATED TITLE IN ALL CAPS. This is an example please don’t use this as your first page header. The subsequent pages should just be the abbreviated title in all caps in the upper left-hand corner.
