Ethnography approach to firefighting stress

Discussion:

Ethnography approach to firefighting stress

Of the five major approaches to qualitative research (case studies, narrative, phenomenology, grounded theory, and ethnography), I am thinking of using the ethnography approach. If I do use this approach, what would be the next best choice for research questions such as whether being a fire-fighter is stressful? Why is this the case? What are the reasons contributing to the stress? Is it the firefighters' personality or the nature of the job? Is stress of the job higher in others and less in some? How do they cope and manage? These are perhaps some question I am considering. So if I use the ethnography approach with these questions, what would be the next best approach to choose and between the two approaches which is the best fit.
