The first step of SARA is to identify problems by getting to know the area. Speculate how long it may take a new officer to become acquainted with the community in order to be effective in identifying patterns of repeat incidents. Then, provide a method or tool to speed up the process.
Evaluate the entire SARA model to determine what would happen if the assessment step is skipped or incompletely detailed.
