Estimate convective heat-transfer coefficient by correlation


A blower is used to move air through a pipe at a rate of 0.01 kg/s. The inside pipe surface temperature is 40 degree C. The bulk temperature of the air reduces from 80 degree C to 60 degree C as it passes through a 5 m section of the pipe. The inside diameter of the pipe is 2 cm|. Estimate the convective heat-transfer coefficient using the appropriate dimensionless correlation.
