The establishment of English colonies in the New World was not without challenges. From the Salem Witch Trials and Bacon's Rebellion to Pontiac's Rebellion and the French and Indian War, colonists faced conflict, both internal and external.
Using Give Me Liberty! and Voices of Freedom, discuss two of the conflicts that colonists confronted between 1670 and 1763. In your answer for each conflict be sure to explain which two groups opposed each other, what was the conflict about, what was the result of the conflict, and most importantly, how did the conflict change the colony, people, or government?
