Job Purpose:

To receive and respond to member/customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence in a timely and professional manner.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1. Receive and respond to all telephone or written correspondence inquiries from members within established time frames and policies.

2. Assist members with plan benefits via telephone, in writing, in person or make referral to an outreach representative as appropriate.

3. Document all members' issues and resolution in the computer system

4. Utilize current reference materials to assist and resolve any member inquiries.
