OBJECTIVES
This course is designed to introduce you to the world of entrepreneurship , providing an overview of the key topics that need to be addressed when committing resources to new business creation decisions. This is a rigorous course as it moves quickly and touches fairly intensively on many topical areas. Some specific objectives of the course include helping you to identify:
1. A new venture's critical success factors;
2. The processes investors use when sorting fundable opportunities from good ideas;
3. The processes that lead to value creation in new business opportunities;
4. The factors critical to building a winning team;
5. The necessary financial and non-financial resources needed by, and that are available to, new ventures; and
6. Entrepreneurial factors that can help your career regardless of its form.
You are required to write your plans for business.
