1. Endocrine glands have no ducts - so these are also called as ductless glands Eg.Pituitary etc.,
2. These glands secrete chemical substances called HORMONES directly into blood.

8. Hormones act at very specific sites in the body. Same hormones may have different effects on different tissues.
