The Boston Consulting Group

The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) considers diversity more than just a passion it is considered more of an advantage(The Boston Consulting Group, 2013). The advantage of hiring open-minded people from all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientation, and ethnicities allows various viewpoints on problem solving and offers challenges to traditional ways of thinking (The Boston Consulting Group, 2013).

The rate of BCG's success with their diversity initiatives can be noted in their various awards. Consulting magazine's annual "Top 25 Most Influential Consultants" includes five of BCG's senior partners who are female (The Boston Consulting Group, 2013). Offering flexible work options that include global PTO may have contributed to Working Mother magazine naming BCG one of its top 100 firms for working mothers (The Boston Consulting Group, 2013). Some other awards include Conceive magazine's recognizing BCG as one of the "50 Best Companies" four years in a row, "Best Places To Work for LGBT Equality" nine straight years, rankings of Top 50 from Diversity MBA, and rankings of Top 100 from Black Enterprise magazine (The Boston Consulting Group, 2013).
Intel

An effort to attract, develop, retain, and connect Intel's diverse employee population, great focus has been put into the diverse strategies within the Intel organization (Intel, 2015). Intel strives to turn differences into strengths with a focus on global diversity. Some strategies include recognition for veterans, raising awareness for LGBTQ, providing accessibility for disabled, they deliver and foster development for women, and they provide programs to develop and retain their ethnically diverse employees (Intel, 2015).
Intel has been awarded on multiple occasions dating back from 2007 to present for their efforts to recognize and appreciate diversity. Some of the various awards include, Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index of 95% rating since 2007, Black Data Processing Associates Best Companies for Blacks in Technology from 2010 to 2014, and Military Times Best for Vets in 2015(Intel, 2015).

Adobe

Employees and applicants are treated by the Adobe organization on the basis of ability and experience without concern to their race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, martial status, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, national origin or any other categorization that is protected by the law (Adobe, 2015). Adobe has set expectations for employees to show respect to one another(Adobe, 2015).

Adobe has been identified for their success with their diversity initiatives. A few of their company awards and recognition include Fortune Magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For, MacLean's Magazine's Canada's Top 100 Employers, and Adobe received a 100% rating in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index (Adobe, 2015).
