Part 1: Describe why people are still getting sick and engaging in unhealthy behaviors in spite of public health efforts. Exaplain. Are public health measures worth the tax dollars we pay for them? Explain what you think should be the public health role of the federal and state governments. Identify the most important problems for public health to address today and provide the rationale for your selected problem.
Part 2: Emergency Preparedness: Most health care organizations are required to have emergency preparedness plans in place for accreditation compliance. Give examples of some of the required activities of such a plan. You may reference a plan from a current employer, if applicable.
