- How adequate are their descriptions of the legal systems they analyze? What variables do they use to account for the emergence of modern legal systems? What evidence did they use to support or refute their arguments? Conclude your essay with a concise discussion that tells which theorist offers the better explanation of legal change. Justify your choice.
