In your answers, you should draw from the assigned course readings and case studies. You may also draw from additional external sources, though this is not expected. An appropriate citation must be provided for every direct use or minor paraphrasing of any text that is not your own creation.
The bulk of your answers should be your own original writing. Appropriately referenced third party content may be incorporated to support your opinions and arguments. Answers should be clearly informed by and draw from (though not necessarily completely agree with) the course readings, lectures, class discussions, and project presentations. This paper provides you with an opportunity to demonstrate that you have learned from the course content, and that your current opinions on the issues prompted by the questions in this examination have been informed by the course.
Answers to the question should be no more than 4 single spaced pages (12 point font, 1″ margins all sides). It is not a requirement or a recommendation that you submit 4 pages per question: this is simply an upper page limit on each answer. Most students submit answers that are about 2.5 to 3 pages per question. For each question, you may divide these 4 pages whatever way you wish between the two parts, but remember that the available marks are divided evenly between the two parts of each question.
You may include images of diagrams or frameworks as part of your answers.

(ii) One rapidly emerging feature of contemporary IT is its ability to enable extensive, real-time, detailed monitoring of business processes, people, and objects. What security, privacy and ethical concerns do these monitoring capabilities create, and how can these concerns be best mitigated and/or managed?
