A cause produces a result; An effect is something that occurs because of that cause: Select and analyze a topic that demonstrates a cause and effect.
Example:
Effect: Child obesity in impoverished USA communities is on the increase.
Cause: Access to fresh produce and other healthy food items is limited in lower income communities.
