1. In a distribution network to a  sub transmission customer using a Swan AWG=4  aluminum cable, steel reinforced cable and transmission theory, A) plot the voltage and current for a 250Km transmission line at 25 degrees Celsius and 75 degress Celsius.

2. A) For a long transmission,  If I tell you that R and G is equal  0, what does that mean for the long transmission line? B) A) Determine the impedance characteristic and the propagation constant when R and G = 0.

3. Determine

a. The impedence of each branch Z1, Z2, and Z3.

b. The impedence of each branch in polar form Z1, Z2, and Z3.

c. The current in each branch I1, I2, and I3 and Total current it.

4. Provide power traingle:

a) Branch 1

b) Branch 2

c) Branch 3

d) Total Power Triangle and power factor, PF.

5. a) Determine reactance needed to make PF= 95%. b) Explain the effect of the total current change in respect to the needed reactance to make the PF greater.

6. If we change the elements  to the circuit to:

R1 = 0, L1= Efficiency  of .80, and  10HP, PF= .7

R2 = The Same

R3=0, L2= PX of 12KVAR, and PR=20KW
