2. Generate a focused summary of salient points the author(s)advanced

3. Delineate a minimum of three reasons (synthesis) why it is important for teachers to consider cultural variables when administering/interpreting cognitive and language assessments

4. Generate your personal reflections regarding the merits/criticisms noted regarding the phenomenon of over representation of minority groups and the NCLB (now the ESSA) mandate to close the achievement gap.
