Ecology is a interdisciplinary branch of science that deals with inter relationship between living organism and their environment.

The term ecology (from greek, oikos-meaning house and -logus-means study of) was first coined by Reiter (1868) and meaning of the term was given by german biologist ernst halckal in 1866.

 

Definition of Ecology:

Ecology has been defined as influence of environmental factors on all aspects of life such as morphology, physiology, growth, distribution, behavior and survival of the organisms.
