To measure Ca in brekafsat ceral, 0.5216 g of crushed Cheerios was ashed in a crucible. The residue was dissolved in 6M HCL, quantitativly transferred to a volumeric flask, and diluted to 100mL. Then 5mL aliquots were transferred to 50mL flasks. Each was treated with standard Ca 2+ containing 20 micrograms/mL, diluted with water and analyzed by AA. Construct a std addition graph and use method of least squares to find x-int. and its uncertainty. Determine wt% Ca in Cheerios and its uncertainty.
