"Each chapter opens by defining the six learning goals that focus on the main topics of the chapter. Then, each chapter refers the student to a MyLab Finance Chapter Introduction video in order to provide relevance of the chapter material. In order to incite student interest, each chapter has a “Why This Chapter Matters to You” section which explains the importance of the material as it relates to both an individual’s personal and professional life. Each chapter includes a combination of In Practice boxes and visual aids (i.e. figures, charts, graphs) to better relay the content to the student. Chapter summaries and end-of-chapter questions recap important learning objectives and challenge students to apply his or her newfound knowledge to realistic managerial issues and challenges as they relate to finance. In my opinion, Smart and Zutter retained this uniformity in the organization of material to create a more comprehensive learning experience and to reinforce the material learned through repetition."
