Due to your lean coursework in both "traditional" and "non-traditional" Factory Physics methods, upper management believes you have the skills and would be the best person to lead the company's path to becoming lean. The CEO decides to setup plans to implement a "lean manufacturing system," and you must break the news to him/her that this system is NOT the "program of the day," and it may take many months (or even years) to totally implement the system and change the corporate culture. Describe your overall plan to implement a lean system - beginning with 5S & visual controls, doing a VSM, kaizens, future state design strategy, etc. and how it can be used to change ail the company into a "lean" thinking culture.
