i. The Company Policy regarding Alcohol/Drug Testing
ii. The Company Policy regarding Employer Monitoring of Employees.
iii. Formulate these policies in a single document, reflecting an understanding of course materials and credible outside research.
Include and cite applicable laws for each topic as the basis for the policy. You may use federal, state, or case law as the foundation for your work. Following is a list of topics you may want to consider in your policies:
i. Pre-employment drug/alcohol testing
ii. Random drug/alcohol testing
iii. Procedure for employees who disagree with results of drug/alcohol Testing
iv. Drug/alcohol procedure for contracted government employees who work in satellite offices
v. Drug testing in states with legal marijuana use
vi. Monitoring of employee desktop computers
vii. Monitoring of employee personal social media use
viii. Monitoring of employee cell phone and company car
ix. Note: Do not cut and paste an existing policy.
Create your own 1,050-word policy. Both policies should be included in a single document with subheadings to delineate "Alcohol/Drug Testing" and "Employee Monitoring."
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
