Driver Behavior - Traffic Congestion and Safety on the Road
Driver behavior is an issue that contributes directly or indirectly to the traffic congestion and safety on the road. Although there are many precautions have been taken to reduce the congestion and improve the road safety, but the understanding on driver behavior have been neglected. Amiruddin bin Ismail (1995) stated that driver behavior has a wide scope and driving task have been studied with the performance on the task. Driving task has been analyzed to determine the relationship between the behavior, driver subtask and the information to reach the destination safely and effectively.
