Draw the membrane potential waveforms on a single graph in this order, starting at resting potential and coming back to resting potential after each waveform: a single EPSP (no summation), a single IPSP (no summation), an IPSP with temporal summation, a simultaneous EPSP and IPSP of equal strengths, an EPSP with spatial summation sufficient to reach threshold, and the ensuing action potential. Label the 3 phases of the action potential. Be sure to label the axes appropriately (include units and values for y axis). Label resting, threshold, and peak potentials. Ensure that all waveforms and landmark potentials (resting, threshold, peak) have appropriate mV values.
