Assignment: Internal Memorandum
You are an associate employed by the law firm of Le Beef, Lambe, & Veale. Ms. Flower Hughes, who is referred to in the fact pattern, has retained your firm. You are to draft an internal memorandum based upon the facts and authorities presented in the problem in the book. You are not required to conduct any additional legal research. You may assume that all of the relevant authorities are included in the problem.
In your memorandum, you should advise your senior attorney, Pauly Partner, whether a contract exists between Ms. Hughes and Mr. Zoeller, whether Ms. Hughes has a legally recognizable defense, and any other issues your senior attorney should be aware of under the fact pattern.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
