Taking annotated bibliography, draft an expository essay identifying an issue raised by 1984 and discussing whether or not our society is moving closer to that problem or away from it. Support your arguments with information from the text of the novel and what you learned from your Internet research and the discussion boards. If your research led you to think that the answer is actually a little of both, carefully explain in what ways we are moving toward Big Brother and in what ways we are moving away.
