Problem
A colleague needs an account on a critical Red Hat server in the enterprise you administer. The colleague has requested to login to the server using the root account. How do you respond to this request (note: "no" is not a response. The colleague must get access but not necessarily using the named root user)? Does your answer change depending on whether the colleague wants GUI or shell access?
