Annotated Bibliography Peer Review Worksheet
1. Check the formatting of each citation. Is there a hanging indent on all lines other than the first? Is each citation double-spaced? Is each source cited using complete, proper MLA format (according to your knowledge)? Please note specific source citations that need attention.
2. Does each annotation contain a summary of its source? Do the summaries give you a clear idea of what each source is about? Please note specific annotations where the summaries may need to be lengthened, shortened, or clarified.
3. Does the writer assess each source effectively in his/her annotations? According to the writer's assessment of each source, do these sources seem like appropriate, credible sources to use for this assignment?
4. Do the annotations also contain the writer's reflections on his/her sources? Does the writer address how each source fits into his/her research, and how each particular source will contribute to his/her project?
5. Check the formatting of the document. Are the margins, spacing, indentations, capitalizations, font, headings, etc. consistent with proper MLA format? Please note any mistakes that need to be addressed in revision, and any other areas the writer needs to improve.
