Visit the website for 1 of the leading news organizations, such as www.cnn.com, www.msnbcc.com, or www.foxnews.com. Identify how the site influences audiences in each of the three ways discussed. How does reading news on the internet differ from reading a newspaper or watching television? How does the news site regulate the information the public receives? Does the news organization take a position on an issue? How effectively does the site communicate its position?
