Dear Darren,

I wanted to start this off by thanking you for your hard work and dedication you have given to the company so far. Myself and the entire design team really appreciate what you have done so far and what you will continue to do in the future. I'm writing this to you because I wanted to talk to you about the documents you have given me in the past. I understand that your style is different than others, but I have been told by upper management that you need to improve and change your style. If you don't, we may have to let you go.

The reason your style is causing such a problem with the team right now is because your style is very difficult to understand. Everyone seems to have trouble following along and it becoming a hassle to get work done. For a team to prosper, everyone needs to be on the same page, and the documents you have given us make it difficult for everyone to be on the same page. Your writing skills are affecting the team, and we can't allow this to continue.

Saying this, this problem is a very easy fix; improving your writing skills. You will need to start taking online classes that focuses on writing in areas like grammar and organization. The main problem in your documents is the grammatical errors and how it's organized. One or two classes would really help you see these errors and improve your writing. I am expecting it to improve, the next document you give me better error free and easy to follow. Consequences will follow if I see no improvement.

The team really does appreciate your hard work, everyone knows you know what you are doing and do it at a high level. Improving your writing will not only help the team but yourself also in the future. It is a very useful tool in life to know how to write clearly. Excited to continue to see your improvement and to continue to work with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Gerald Williams
