Research methods and methodology are key components of a study that tell us precisely how the research was conducted. This section of an article may be considered the most important because it explains what was done, and why. Ensuring that every, minute detail necessary to understand, and replicate a study should be included in this section of the paper.
Participatory Budgeting in Midwestern State by Franklin, Ho, and Ebdon & Logitudinal Effects of Impact Fees by Jung, Roh and Kang both provide clearly stated research methods sections. These articles are attached here.
I. Go to the research design/methods sections of each paper. Carefully read how the authors write these sections.

The research design section for the Franklin, Ho * Ebdon article start on page 58.
