Does media violence contribute to aggression in older

Does media violence contribute to aggression in older children and teens?

The spate of violence perpetuated by teenagers in recent years has generated a lot of interest and attention form society and scholars. According to David Grossman (2000), contemporary media sources for youth teach children to kill in much the same way that soldiers are trained to kill during military training for war. Grossman also feels that media sources use various psychological foundations to increase a desire for aggressive behavior. On the flip side, Jonathan Freedman (2002) argues that the accumulated data has found no strong empirical link between media violence and teen aggression.
