The project is focused to elicit understanding and knowledge related to the concepts and issues which affect the strategic implication of Information Technology and its effectiveness and productivity, utilization and implementation.
Carr (2003) in his article "IT Doesn't Matter" initiated a debate about the strategic use and value of Information Technology. There have been a number of contributions to this debate.
The project requires you to systematically investigate the question and present your understanding as an essay.
The following references are provided as starting point for your investigation. In order to have a more comprehensive investigation it would be highly appropriate to search and identify other contributions to the research question.
