Garner contacted Foreman and his manager, who both reside in Texas, to sell the idea, and they arranged a meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada. Nevertheless, after negotiations fell through, Foreman used Garner's 'battle of the ages" concept to promote a subsequent fight.
