Can someone tell me the history about zynga?. I've read bits and pieces about it in articles but they are separated that I'm not too sure what happened when. I haven't seen an article that will give me a whole timeline of the company and all the issues that happened to it chronologically.
Does every company do an IPO? And if not, was Zynga doing it to get away from facebook? I know how people were saying that zynga was too reliant on facebook. What's the deal with the new contract that they made recently (A contract that made them more separate from each other?)? I read somewhere that Facebook had the "App center" so other companies can compete with zynga on fb. Was this before or after the second contract?
ALSO, can someone tell me how their poor management is making them fall, please? I have some points on it but I don't really know how to elaborate. These are the points I have for Zynga's bad management:
- zynga keeps on hiring and firing people
- too many games, too quickly
- games are all the same in a sense - there's no originality in them.
Are there some possible solutions to Zynga's bad management?
Also, ZYnga move to phones. How can it improve its consumer interest on the phone?
