After having been at war for nearly 14 years, is America becoming a warrior nation? Have we become preoccupied with war as a means of achieving our goals when other, less violent, methods might work? Or, has the role of the world's policeman been cast upon us and we must bear that responsibility as the leader of the free world? And, Europe seems more than happy to let us wear that robe; think of Serbia/Kosovo in the mid-90's, Darfur, the Middle East, the list could go on. Does Europe have more responsibility for European and world stability? How can we, as individual citizens, work toward a more peaceful, cooperative world?
