Do you think the environment (nature, animals, oceans, etc.) has a value that is independent of human beings or are those things valuable only because we have some interest in them?
For example, are dolphins valuable simply because of the kind of being they are or are they only valuable because we like to look at them, study them and may, in some way, improve our lives?
