With the Republican Party in a virtual ‘civil war' between the factions following former President Trump and the other factions following traditional Republicans like Mitch McConnell and Liz Cheney, do you think that there is a chance for one of these factions to break off and form its own political party? Some cite the fact that despite being openly despised by ordinary Republicans, Trump has a tremendous hold on some 70 million voters. Others cite the fact that nearly all of corporate America that fuels the Republican campaign machine has firmly entrenched itself in the McConnell camp and wants nothing to do with Trump ever again and that money always wins in the end. What do you think? Will there be a vicious fight for the soul of the Republican Party or will one side just break off and challenge the two-party status quo?
