Do you think that everyone is biased

Problem

We were introduced to thought, language, and communication. In week 5, you had the opportunity to explore the relationship between language development and thinking. As I'm sure you were able to see, the use of language is so significantly intertwined with thinking competencies that a second week's worth of work was dedicated to further examining language's role in critical thinking. The focus of our time in week 6 was spent in the investigation and application of language as a communication vehicle for our thoughts-clearly, carefully, and intentionally. The three primary concepts that you should have grasped from last week's work are the three primary purposes of communication: to inform, explain, and persuade.

Our textbook discusses bias. Based on the above three purposes of communication, consider the following questions (again these are optional):

i. Do you think that everyone is biased? Why or why not?
ii. Is it possible to write without bias? Why or why not?
iii. Is there an example in the textbook of bias? If so, why is it biased?
