According to the theory of observational learning, children learn by observing other people (or models). Consider the models that students observe on television, videos/DVD's/YouTube, movies and the computer. Do you think children are influenced the the models that they observe in the media? Why or why not? Do you think that children should be limited in the amount of media time they have (limited television, etc.)? Why or why not? At what age, do you think that children are old enough to have unlimited and unfiltered exposure to media?
