Do you think that a person's religious beliefs could influence their acceptance of evolution? Why would this be so? What argument would these individuals use to dispute evolution? Illustrate your answer with an example.

What is the difference between the common everyday use of the word "theory" and the scientific use of the word? What does it mean that a theory must be testable/falsifiable? Provide an example of a theory that would fall into the category of common everyday use of the word theory and a scientific example. These examples should not have been previously presented to you in the class.

In your readings this week you read about Neil Shubin's important discovery. Summarize that discovery. Did Shubin and his colleagues prove evolution? Explain.
