Problem
The textbook discusses the police subculture and lists nine "significant beliefs of the police subculture" (Herbert, 1998).
i. Do you think that these are still valid beliefs of the police subculture?
ii. As a supervisor, do you see any reason for concern with regards to your subordinate officers and these significant beliefs?
iii. If you have any concerns in (ii) above, would you address them with your officers? Why/Why not? How would you approach this?
