Dr. Mangione talked about the "view you get from outside" when a child receives messages from others judging her home culture. As a child, do you have any memories about how others related to your culture? Were you in a more homogenous community, where neighbors shared your culture or was your community more heterogenous, diverse with more than one neighborhood culture?
