Do you feel that when it comes to children we should

In our system of healthcare, there are many ways to access care and to pay for it. However, in general, if you do not have health insurance or a lot of money, you probably have a hard time getting it. In fact, some believe that we have created a system of haves and have-nots. It becomes even more difficult when children are involved in this have/have-not system. We all want our children to be healthy and happy. However, when you don't have health insurance or can't pay out of pocket, you may find that you have to make hard choices about paying bills or taking your child to the doctor. There are programs in place that some low-income families qualify for. It offers some level of care. However, as with most government programs, the majority of people don't quite meet the eligibility criteria.

Do you feel that when it comes to children, we should provide care for them regardless of the parent's ability to pay? Do we benefit as a society when all of our children are healthy?
