Pose the following questions to four or five college-age friends:
a) Do you consider yourself to have reached adulthood? Why or why not?
b) What criteria would you use to determine whether a person has become fully adult?
After recording the answers, compare them with research presented in the text, considering the following questions:
a) Did any respondents give ambiguous answers? Explain.
b) Did any respondents view themselves as having reached adulthood? If so, what were their reasons for thinking so?
c) Did criteria for reaching adulthood vary among respondents? If so, what might explain that variation?
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
