Conversion of domestic to wartime production and wartime finance enabled the country to produce the materials needed for victory. American commanders adopted battle strategies throughout the war that enabled the allies to defeat what appeared to be overwhelming odds in 1942. And the U.S. benefitted from luck and bad decision making by its enemies. Of these three, which do you believe contributed the most to the American victory in the war?
