Problem: The Greeks, because there were so many city states, experimented and experienced different forms of government. In fact Aristotle, the Greek Philosopher wrote about them. I would like you to identify 4 forms of governments used by the Greeks and look at the advantages and disadvantages of each. The origins of the words we use to describe these form of governments all come from Greek. Because we are Americans we tend to know the most and think Democracy is the best form of government. In fact, we promote it around the world. Do you think there are any prerequisites for democracy to succeed?
