Problem: Do the figures in the paintings appear to occupy real space? Is there a sense of 3 dimensionality or do they look as if they are flat and "floating"? In other words, does it look like the artist tried to create perspective? (I am NOT asking if the painting is flat. It's on a wall, of course it's flat. I'm asking about the stuff depicted in the painting)
